Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use the Bloobu app and website. By using Bloobu you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
Using Bloobu
- You must be at least 13 years old, or older where your local law requires.
- You need a Sign in with Apple or Google account. Keep it secure; you are responsible for activity on it.
- Be kind. Do not misuse Bloobu, try to break or overload it, access it with automated tools, or try to get around its limits.
AI replies
Bloobu's replies are generated by AI. They can be wrong, silly or forgetful. Bloobu is a companion for fun and reflection. It is not a therapist and does not give medical, legal or financial advice. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
Fair-use limits
To keep Bloobu available for everyone, daily, weekly and monthly message limits apply. Bloobu Plus raises them. We may change limits to keep the service sustainable.
Bloobu Plus subscription
- What you get: higher message limits, any blob color, any blob name and hats.
- Price and billing: $4.99 USD per month (the price may differ in your country and is shown in the app before you subscribe). Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Renewal: the subscription renews automatically each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Managing and cancelling: open Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone, or manage it in the App Store. You keep Plus until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Refunds: Apple handles billing and refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- When Plus ends: normal limits apply again and hats are hidden. The color and name you chose stay, but you can only pick from the standard options when you change them.
Your content
You own what you write. You give Bloobu permission to store and process it, including with the AI providers described in the Privacy Policy, only to provide the service to you.
Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription; cancel it in your Apple ID settings as well.
No warranty and liability
Bloobu is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Bloobu in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use Bloobu after a change means you accept it.
